Kaia Biedrzycki
Kaia Biedrzycki is an actress, dancer, and film maker born in Toronto, Canada.
Her journey as a dancer began at age 14, under the passionate instruction of Sue Cambell at MDA. Here, Kaia studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap and acrobatics. All within “Paula Morgan” technique.
In 2016, Kaia graduated from Randolph College for the Performing Arts, where she trained as a ‘Triple Threat’ musical theatre performer. Then, as her career took her into film and television, Kaia worked with The Pro Actors Lab, studying under the late great David Rotenberg.
After some time away from dancing, Kaia stumbled into a Bachata class, and her love of dance was reignited. Soon after she met her partner in crime, Mika Kwiecinski, a dancer whose artistry and work ethic aligned perfectly with her’s. With their combined talents, they have cultivated their own freestyle bachata fusion, and intend to fundamentally influence partner work as a whole.
The root of Kaia's partner dancing philosophies come from her time on stage and screen:
Learn to be fully present, and train your body, mind, and breath, so you can play.
In all her work, Kaia leads with an open heart and a good sense of humor.
